The Hinz Dam Catchment is a picturesque water storage and conservation area located behind the Gold Coast in the Qld Scenic Rim. The East or West boat ramps provide easy access and parking so you do not have to walk far to find a great location to setup your camera. There are also some easy walks for those who like to hike along the banks of the catchment and photograph the abundant birdlife.
